Jorge Ramos interviewed Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) for an October 28 episode of “AMERICA with Jorge Ramos

Jorge Ramos: I was listening to a speech by your father Rafael last July in Salt Lake City and he made a comparison between- of course he was born in Cuba.

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX): Right.

Ramos: He made a comparison between Fidel Castro the dictator and President Obama. Do you agree with it?

Cruz: Well, I will say that it is an incredible blessing to be the child of an immigrant. To be the child of someone like my father who fled oppression and came here with nothing. And one of the real benefits of that is you appreciate how precious and fragile is the freedom we have here. My father has seen what happens when-

Ramos: And it is a terrible dictatorship in Cuba. But is it fair to compare it with the United States? I mean is President Barack Obama a dictator from your point of view?

Cruz: Well the point he made- look obviously there are enormous differences between President Obama and Fidel Castro.

Sean Penn wants to Commit Ted Cruz

Far-left actor Sean Penn told CNN’s Piers Morgan on Monday that Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) and other Tea Party lawmakers serving in Congress have “mental health” problems and should be committed through an executive order.

“There’s a mental health problem in Congress,” Penn proclaimed. “This would be solved by committing them by executive order, I think. Because these are our American brothers and sisters, we shouldn’t be criticizing them, attacking them … this is a cry for help.”

“You literally commit what, people like Ted Cruz?” Morgan asked.

“He’s my American brother. I think we should take care of him, he is in trouble,” Penn replied. “I think it’s a good idea.”

Giving Penn the benefit of the doubt, he seemed to be clearly joking as he and Morgan shared a laugh.

Ironically, Penn went on to lament the fact that people in America help “self-destruct” the country’s promise partly by “saying nasty things about each other” and “being crazy.”

Harvey Milk Day

Harvey Milk Day (Photo credit: Wikipedia)

Harvey Milk was made famous when Sean Penn starred in the fictional biographic movie of Milk’s life. Before that, he was popular mostly in the gay community and in California politics, as Milk was the first openly gay politician elected to public office. Because of this distinction, Milk has become a pseudo-saint of the leftist gay community. The problem is that not only was Harvey Milk a homosexual, he was a chronic and serial child abuser.

Randy Shilts was a reporter for the San Francisco Chronicle and a close friend of Milk’s. In his biography of Milk he wrote, “Harvey always had a penchant for young waifs with substance abuse problems.” One of those “waifs” was a 16 year old runaway from Maryland who Milk picked up on the streets of San Francisco. Of their relationship Shilts wrote,”… Sixteen-year-old McKinley was looking for some kind of father figure. … At 33, Milk was launching a new life, though he could hardly have imagined the unlikely direction toward which his new lover would pull him.”

HarveyMilkMore study of the life of Harvey Milk would lead one to learn that this young boy was not the only victim of Harvey Milk’s pederasty. One of the things that drove Harvey Milk was the desire to see America’s traditional cultural and sexual mores completely transformed. He believed that the monogamy expressed in heterosexual lifestyles was not natural to the human experience.

Randy Thomasson, child advocate and founder of SaveCalifornia.com, is one of the nation’s foremost experts on Harvey Milk. Of the Shilts biography, Thomasson notes, “Explaining Milk’s many flings and affairs with teenagers and young men, Randy Shilts writes how Milk told one ‘lover’ why it was OK for him to also have multiple relationships simultaneously: ‘As homosexuals, we can’t depend on the heterosexual model. … We grow up with the heterosexual model, but we don’t have to follow it. We should be developing our own lifestyle. There’s no reason why you can’t love more than one person at a time.’”

Normally a man who is a serial rapist of children would not be highly thought of, but for years Milk has been venerated by the Left. Indeed, President Obama has now made it official and even placed Milk on a commemorative stamp through the USPS. This is what happens when liberals are in charge – they call evil good, and good evil. It’s a complete travesty that Harvey Milk has been lionized in our nation, when, in reality, he was a violent and disgusting criminal who raped young boys whenever he could.

Congress Audience LAUGHS at Charlie Rangel for Insisting GOP Didn’t Vote for Social Security

It’s Amazing how Gullible some of the politicians think we (the American People) are… Please watch and let me know what you think.

Blessings

Andrew

During Monday’s congressional hearing into the problems associated with the Affordable Care Act’s roll-out, Rep. Charlie Rangel (D-NY) attempted to make a political point about the Republican Party’s perfunctory opposition to the ACA. He insisted that Republicans oppose most any entitlement and all of them voted against the establishment of Social Security in the 1930s. Rangel was corrected by the GOP committee members, inspiring the laughs of the hearing attendees.

“You may wonder why the administration appears to be under such severe attack by some members of this committee, especially as it relates to our goal to provide health care for 30 million Americans that can’t afford or don’t have access to it,” Rangel began. “It should give you some small comfort to know that historically the Republican Party always fought vigorously against these type of programs.”

“I don’t think that one Republican voted for the Social Security Act even though those old enough enjoy the benefits,” Rangel insisted.

He was immediately corrected by the Republican members of that committee. “We’ll see,” Rangel said. “Maybe one or two, I don’t know.”

Global warming gets nearly twice as much taxpayer money as border security

ew estimates show the federal government will spend nearly twice as much fighting global warming this year than on U.S. border security.

A black box in your car? Some see a source of tax revenue

WASHINGTON — As America’s road planners struggle to find the cash to mend a crumbling highway system, many are beginning to see a solution in a little black box that fits neatly by the dashboard of your car.

The devices, which track every mile a motorist drives and transmit that information to bureaucrats, are at the center of a controversial attempt in Washington and state planning offices to overhaul the outdated system for funding America’s major roads.

The usually dull arena of highway planning has suddenly spawned intense debate and colorful alliances. Libertarianshave joined environmental groups in lobbying to allow government to use the little boxes to keep track of the miles you drive, and possibly where you drive them — then use the information to draw up a tax bill.
